How to install a M41? 140-160

I have the early OD, it uses the same mount on the gearbox & a skinnier crossmember that bolts up to the normal 4-speed location. My early car uses the small shafts, the rear half is special in that it has the small uni at the front & a big uni at the diff flange. I have no idea what it's out of, I suspect it might be from a B20 powered 240.

Are you allowed to use the small shafts? B20E cars all have the big ones.
