How to install a M41? 140-160

That is a lot of shifting if you are planning on splitting the gears. My ITB car was set up that way and I tried it for a while. Didn't really like it but I guess it would depend on the track too. As far as what you need. I'm not sure if you can interchange the small diameter with the bigger. If the splines line up I guess you could. Not 100% sure but I don't think the auto drive shaft is the right lenth. I would try to find a drive shaft off a 72 or later 140. I think that the drive shaft off the O/D 240's will work too. There is a tranny mount for the M41. There are two sets of mounting holes under the car. As I recall you will use the ones that are set back farther. If you dont have the mount it shouldn't be hard to fab one up. Hope this helps.
