I'm a VCOA member. Live in North Carolina and although ROLLING magazine lists a chapter in the state, it's inactive as far as I can tell. South Carolina about the same. Since beginning the resto on my PV I've met some "Volvo guys" in the Charlotte/Asheville/Upstate SC area. We exchange Emails and get together about once a year to eat "steak at the lake" but nothing formal. In fact we refer to ourselves as the "UNCLUB". Without the advise, experience and encouragement of my unclub friends my PV project would not be as complete as it is. One in particular and he posts on this board as "PeeBee". So, the only thing I get for my VCOA membership is the mag. It's a nice pub but if I had to choose between it and the BRICKBOARD I'd choose this forum. I hope those of you that visit here often make a donation to keep it running.
