Anyone work at a dealer...?

...or know enough to advise me?

I looked at an 97 850 Turbo yesterday. 117K miles, they (the dealer) were asking $6300 plus taxes & fees.

The car needs work, and though I probably won't buy it or even make an offer (because the work would cost me at least a thousand), does anyone have any idea how much a dealer would go down on their pricing (is there a general rule of thumb?)?

I also ask because I'm thinking of buying a Camry for my DD, while I start overhauling the brick. Say there were a used Camry for $13,000, any ideas how much I might be able to get them to go down? I know there are a lot of factors involved, but...

Thanks.
