Heater Fan Won't Turn Off 200

Dear Volvo Fans,

Last night I noticed that my heater fan on my 1984 240GL sedan would not turn completely off. It seems stuck on its lowest setting and stays at this setting when it is in the off position.

Since the heater fan was replaced in the last few years, I don't think that this is the problem. I'm thinking that the switch itself may need to be replaced.

Is this a difficult part to replace and how do I go about it?

Thanks for whatever replies,

Amtrak
