CYLINDER HEAD 900 1993

Good evening all, and thanks for everyone who have replied to my needs. I took my head to the machine shop for srvice, check warpage, clean and value job. When I got home I noticed that the camshaft was not secured. The brackets were all on that ghold the camshaft in place, but the nuts were loose. Should I return the head so the machine shop can tighten them or can I do it myself? I want to put everything back together before the weekend. Please help.
