Sqealing Blower Noise When Cold 200

Hello. Its finally gotten very cold here in central NJ. Past week or so when icy cold out blower fan on my '86 makes sqealing noise. It is okay when it is not so cold out. Didn't do this last Winter. Think it just needs lubrication ? Or does yours do this too maybe when its really cold out ? Sure hope this is about the cold and not about that it is on verge of going bad and needs to be replaced. Did that job last year on the '87. Really really would hate to do it again on the '86. P.S. - It really has been quite cold. Can't open hood when its so cold. Latch gets frozen.
