login/password/recognition problems 200 1990

When I returned to the brickboard 30 minutes ago all the posts were marked as "new" and I was not logged in according to the window at the top right.

I tried to login and was denied. I tried to have my password mailed to me and it did not recognize my email address.

I noticed then that I was shown as logged in where all the people logged in are listed, but not in the normal window at the top of the page.

I went to my laptop and found that I was logged in as soon as I accessed the RWD forum page. I was able to log out and then log back in... on the laptop.

My desktop is still not recognizing me and shows me in the group of people logged in.

Anybody have any idea of what might be the solution? Thanks
