Recently got the rear 22mm sway bar installed to complement the front 25mm. Boy, the stock is so puny! But anyway, I had the front upgraded first and drove with this 25mm/19mm (stock) setup for a few months and noticed a big difference, but I was still a bit conservative about my driving. So now with the complete iPd setup and a Cherry Turbo strut brace, I've been testing my wagon to the max ("max" in comparison to how I was driving before with only the front 25mm) on curves when I get the chance, like on freeway entrance and exit ramps or on curvy or sweeping roads (encountered one a few nights ago). Boy, the thrill and the confidence of minimal or no rolly feeling--none of that sliding in your seat feeling and such! At first I had that instinct of tapping the brakes and slowing down but realized that I could go pretty fast without feeling like the car was gonna tip or lean or lose control or something. I understand a bit on the concept of sway bars from the swedishbricks.net page, but I'm wondering if the constant driving on curves and bends at fast speeds puts stress on the car body, chassis, tires, and, considering that I have a wagon, on the sheet metal. I mean I don't go looking for curves, but when I do encounter them, I like the feeling of confidence my car has in approching them.
