Intermittant oil light after radiator swap 900

I put in a new radiator, water pump & hoses today. While I had the radiator out I also removed the intercooler hoses to clean up and check the condition of the intercooler. Got everything back togather and drove the car for about 20 min, then let it idle in the driveway for about another 10 min. Everything looked O.K. so I went to shut it off and had the oil light on. When I checked the oil it was down less than 1/2qt. which I did add. Still had the intermittant oil light.
I did have to add some trans fluid after the radiator change and I added too much, I was planning on flushing the trans fluid tommorrow anyway so I thought it will be O.K. till then (not planning on driving the car tonight)

Is it possible that the oil light is coming on because of the tranny level?

Or, Does anyone have any idea what I might have done to cause this oil light problem?

Car is a 93 945turbo. Thanks for taking the time to read my wordy post,
