E-code Option for 1985 240 200 1985

I put a set of e-codes on my 1987 740 to replace the quad beams and want to do the same for my 1985 245 wagon.

I used the DJ Auto e-codes from FCP Groton last time and they say that their kit for the 86-93's will fit my 1985 - but other people tell me they won't fit.

Has anyone successfully installed e-codes in a 1985 240? If so, where did you get them? I am thinking of ordering from W&G in Germany, but don't know if they would have a fit.
