Bosch or Regina fuel injection? 700

Only if something actually breaks!

I've had two Regina cars (three if you count Dad's '95 940). Both 745's with 250-300k miles. The fuel/ingnition systems never gave a lick of trouble. The previous owner did change the fuel pump in our current 740... but that's it.

The equivalent Bosch system (2.4) in the 240 has been mostly trouble-free, but has required much more elbow grease (AMM's, in-tank pumps, funky ECU's, etc.). Certainly has cost more to maintain than the Regina system. Given a choice of the two I'd rather have Regina. Build up a stash of used spare parts, and you should be fine. In time, hopefully some of the more expensive bits (e.g. fuel pressure regulator) will come down in price.
