I have a long flat metal rod (approx. length = width of seat, 1/2" wide, 1/8" deep) with notches at the ends on the length - it was under the driver's seat. I believe it probably goes in there somewhere, but Bentley makes no mention of seat construction, and I am clueless yet again!

Any help is greatly appreciated!
