Carpet padding - insulation 200

Ok I'll bite..
Put the generic Dynamat everywhere.
Short loop commercial carpet is pretty tuff stuff,
remnants can be found at a carpet outlet/store.
Poly boat carpet is more like the Volvo rugs.
Stitching it with a canvas needle will be difficult.
Carpet tape might be OK.
Surely you can find some medium density carpet
padding that is better than the stock 240 foam stuff.
Closed cell neoprene is expensive, but you may also
consider camping sleeping pads.
Neoprene can be joined with wet-suit glue from a
dive shop,if you want it to hold shape.
Various snaps and toggle snaps can be found
at marine stores to secure the carpets.
Jute mat is still available but when it gets wet,
it creates acid and is hard to dry out.
