1987 740 turbo no spark :( 900 1987

If its just the connector at the base of the distri, that any easy fix. If the hall sensor itself(inside the distributor, find a junkyard one.

Smoke, probably breather box. You can remove, flush it or replace.

Brake-can't help

Fan-aux cooling fan, located infront of rad, behind the grill.

87 is known engine wiring harness breakdown. Usually shows up on top of intake manifold where there are a couple of grounding wires. The insulation breaks down. Do a search for Dave Barton website. He tells how to see if the harness is the newer one.
