AMSOIL Super Shift Type F in an M46? 200 1985

Thought of changing to a synthetic (see subject heading) as the shifting feels a bit notchy in my '85 244 M46 with 190K mi. Both the clutch cable (new) and reverse detente plate are properly adjusted so I suspect the synchros.
Question: Has anyone used this AMSOIL product and with results?
Many thanks,
Dukester
