rear shocks S90-V90 1998

Is yours an IRS car with the leaf spring?
Do the Monroe units fit an IRS '98 sedan without Nivomat?

Yes, the car is IRS, leaf spring, sans Nivomats. In fact, I think Volvo dropped the Nivomats sometime before the 1997 model year.

I can't see why the same shock would not fir your S90, but make sure the Sears people day so. They had to order the ones for me, took almost 2 weeks. On the invoice they are listed as Monroe Sensatronis 5979.

Goot luck,

Bob
