New 240 with a Pioneer Radio issue 200

My wife wouldn’t understand my frustration so here it is.
Volvo content? My wife rides in the car!

The car has a Pioneer DEH-P8200R with a CDX-P650 trunk mounted CD changer, both without power. It is about 5 years old and worked up to about 6 months ago according to the PO. Heck, I have to return the 5 CDs I found in the changer. I have been removing trim panels looking for simple blown fuse or a loose connection. I found a prime 30A inline fuse but with no voltage, ignition on, on either side of the fuse connection. Problem is, this car has a no name alarm/door lock remote and it is getting busy under there. I could not figure out how to remove the radio either. The PO bought the car with the radio in it but he never got the books.

I guess th8is is a gripe. I went to a Pioneer website and all the literature has to be purchased unlike other electronics’ web sites. What’s up with this? I have always been able to find publication in the form of a .pdf.

Well, FWIW, it was a decent looking install.
