240 Fender Removal 200 1991

there are several spot welds near the turn signal area.

locate them & drill out starting with a small bit and work up to a larger bit.

issue: your new fender will have the same holes drilled out.

dont paint the entire fender before you attach it to the car! it's not done that way. just cut in the edges with your color. attach fender. fix spot weld holes. then, paint fender.

you'll save big if you can find same color fender as others noted. it'll still have holes.

but, most important, would be to focus your energy on finding a PERFECT fender -color unimportant.

i have to do the same thing this spring, i feel your pain.

either way, the lady is going to have to pay. and, if your doing the bulk of the work, have her pay to get it painted properly. get something in writing ASAP.
