Headlights 200 1990

Hi Simon,

I think you are on to something.

If the headlight's ground is not well made, some of the low beam's current will be passed to the high beam filament, and then to its indicator lamp as well. The left headlight ground is done at a the forward screw that holds the bracket that mounts the battery junction box, high/low step relay, and 25A fuse. It is a vulnerable place with water from the hood slot and battery acid nearby.

It could also be corrosion in the headlight socket. Winter troubles.
