Who is a VCOA member and if so, what chapter? 444-544

I am a VCOA member. A chapter is nearby but it seems to be real quiet. I can't complain because I haven't volunteered to help. The discount has more than paid for the membership every year. I enjoy Rolling. I have the first issue from 1983. While the magazine has grown from a thin black and white newsletter to a full color magazine, the membership has only increased $10. Personally I prefer to have all RWD but I have learned a lot about the newer Volvos. It is refreshing to belong to a club that accepts all cars with the same nameplate. Most clubs for domestic cars accept only one model and couldn't care less about anything else made by the same company. As far as politics inside the chapters and club, where will you not find that? If you enjoy something as common as a Mustang, Camaro or a VW Bug, you could just be a lone wolf. But when you enjoy a make with a small following it's good to be a part of a group.

As a side point, I recently obtained some copies of the Swedish PV club magazine. I can't read them but judging by the pictures it would be a great club to be a part of, for a 544 owner.
