544 as a daily driver? 444-544

I drive mine from after the first good Spring rain that washes the salt off the roads till they get salted again with the first snow-fall. I think that everything the can be said about PVs as daily drivers has been covered by the other contributors, but I'll list the comfort items in my order of priority:

1) Overdrive
2) Better seats - mine are Recaros out of a BMW.
3) Suspension upgrades as mentioned by JohnMc.
4) Better head lights.

Nice to have:
5) Good CD player (One that has the best bounce resistance. Mine is a "Road Kill" from a big box store and it is silent most of the time unless I'm on a really smooth stretch of road. It's suspended under the dash, well-cushioned in rubber, but stil . . . Suggestions for a decent set-up would be appreciated.)
6) Back-up lights.
7) Gas struts on the trunk lid.
