maximum mph.? 700 1990

No offense but the answer is kinda obvious.

If you push your car really hard yes it will die sooner.

If you insist upon doing it make sure that you are running Mobil 1 motor oil (Don't change straight to M1 you will destroy every gasket and seal in your car) and some sort of synthetic trans fluid. Keep a special eye on tire pressure and check your ball joins often!

While you are driving a tank that doesn't mean you are indestructible!

Andrew

p.s. I did 150+mph in a 242, no problems. However, I did have an issue with my 911 race car becoming airborne at 130.
