What kind of seats are you using in your PV 444-544

You must be somewhere other than the USA----Italian cars are pretty much extinct here. The seats are usually pretty nice, if you can find them, but watch out for loose or wobbly mechanisms. These can sometimes be tightened. My 85 Alfa Spider had the worst driving position of any car I ever owned. However, this was mainly due to the relative locations of the seat, wheel and pedals. The seat itself might be just the ticket in a PV. International Auto Parts, in Virginia, has reupholstery kits for most Fiat and Alfa seats, in a variety of colors and materials. Not cheap, but not totally outrageous either. Lancia seats are going to be tough to find in the States. Only Beta Coupes and Zagatos were imported in any quantity. The early model (75-78) seats were weird looking and would suit a Saab Sonett better than a PV, but the ones from a 79-82 model might work. Peugeot seats are another possibility. Whatever ill one may speak of French cars, lack of comfort was never among their faults.
