Oil Change & Sea Foam ?? 700 1992

What is the real answer ?

Is it either a GOOD idead or a BAD idea to run some Sea Foam through the oil system for 500 miles or so before an oil change ?

When the B230FT was my daily driver, I did on 2 occasions run Motor Flush (for 5 minutes) through the engine prior to the oil changes, the oil came out black. It would be accurate to say there was a noticeable amount of sludge. etc, that came out. So, I would think flushing the motor out helped remove unwanted oil contaminates.

So, what is the deal ? Is it GOOD or BAD ?
