How many Volvo 1800 were imported into the USA 1800

I resently purchased a 1964 1800s and have had many people ask "How many of those are there around here", as I stare at them with blankness on my face, my answer is "I have no idea". Could someone tell me how many 1800s were produced and how many were shipped over to the USA. At least around here (Midwest), I haven't seen another one for years, if ever. I know the rareness of them doesn't reflect it's value, but it would be nice to be able to tell people that there are not many in the States.
