Yes, check the fuse.

In the system, not sure where on your newer layout, is a switch that opens when the refrigerant charge gets too low. When that happens, nothing else does.

In the older systems one could look in a sight glass and/or jump the pressure switch.

Get a check on the level of the regrigerant.
