hi all, i was wondering if someone could help me with a question. i am considering changing from points to an xr700 crane ignition and want to know if the vacuum advance needs to be working? can't seem to locate one so i figured now might be the time to convert to crane if it dosen't require a vacuum advance, which to me doesen't seem like it would being that it has its own control unit but haven't got one in my hands to study. thanks mike in va.
