Tell Me About Coil Packs! 900

I am told I have two slighty cracked coil packs on my 98 V90 w/136K. This was discovered when I asked my indy Volvo mechanic to replace the plugs while he had to do the lower control arm bushing replacement.
The car runs very smoothly and I have never experienced a misfire, stall or rough running YET! I decided NOT to replace them at this time. I can order the part from FCP Groton and do it myself. Are there any special issues or things to consider when I replace them? Any tips? I checked the FAQ but I could not find much in the way of specifics for the coil packs other then how to test and the potential cause of failure. Also, who makes the Volvo OEM coil pack? Bosch?? Thanks!
