740 CRUISE WIRING 700

Godd Afternoon Folks;
I am trying to get my the cruise on my daughters'92 740 wagon operational. As the was not factory equipped with it, I bought a cruise kit (OEM Volvo parts) on E-Bay last fall and installed it. At the time I was unable to find the speed sender (yellow / green-orange) wire that is supposed to be attached to the instrument cluster. I have disected the dash wiring and cannot find it. Does anybody have any idea where it comes from? IE would it be contained in the main cluster wire bundle that snakes out from the centre of the car, or is it contained in the other bundle that comes from the LH end of the dash by the hood release cable? I just need some sort of reference point. I think somebody either clipped it off or tucked it up out of the way out of sight.
Any information will be appreciated.

Regards;
