Just changed PS pump bracket and all rubber bushings. 700

Well, today was the day to renew all the belts on my 1990 740 wagon. So, I bought a new PS pump bracket, and urethane bushings from eEuroparts.com at $4.70 each.

This job was very simple in concept, but fairly labor intensive. I ran into some alignment issues with the a/c adj. bracket and the alternator Adj. bracket. They were rubbing to the point where I could not attach the alternator all the way. After several hours of cussing I got it all back together. Just a tip, remove the splash shield fromthe bottom of the car to get at the lower bolts. I'm sure some manual says that somewhere, but I tend to not follows instructions very well. Anyway, its pretty straight forward, but not easy. Remember to note how the bushings are installed. You can get this wrong.

Also, everyone I asked before I did this job said I only needed 7 bushings. This is incorrect. You need a total of eight to do the job. The A/C compressor takes 5 bushings and the Alternator takes 3 bushings.

In the morning, I'm going to grease the u joints, change the spark plugs, change the oil, and inspect the distributor.
