Broken bolt, alternator bracket. 200

The bolt that goes into the engine block broke as I was driving. It is the one the holds the alternator bracket (the adjutable one). It is not sheared completely level with the block but I think one side of the bolt is. This bolt was replaced at the dealership 3 months ago. How can I get it out? Vise grips maybe? I had to take my winter tires off the front of my 240 and put them on the rear of my 740 so I can drive it instead. Is this bolt something that usually breaks? What could have caused it. I don't believe the belts were to tight.

Thanks

Chris
