The signal from the rear differential is stable and present.
I have the same behaviour that temperature is of great influence.
If its cold it works for 5 minutes, then go's off,then I have to turn the dashboard vents on hot,and it works again after 5 minutes, but still on /off intermittend.
I suspected a crack in the printboard maybe. Odometer is off when speed is off.
I tightend all the screws and looked at 6the solder. Is it very hard to change out the individual speedo?
Is there any way to get a signal to the cruise outside the speedo?
I just get a GPS for the other functions then.
