Control Arm Bushing 200 1989

I just had my control arm bushings and an alignment done.
(See earlier post about wheel shimmy)

I brought it back because of the shimmy on the passenger side and the front end shop said defective inner bushing. This was the rubber IPD bushing.
Any one else have this problem? Or did they damage it on install?

I suggested IPD to them when they told me dealer price was $180 for the bushing kit. Now he seems reluctant to the the same place for replacement bushing.
I went with rubber instead of Polly because this is just my around-town car.
