My 240 update.. potentially VERY bad development 200 1989

hmm.. I don't have a 500 watt lamp, and can't exactly get one at 10:12pm.. The best I could do at the time with draining the cooling system is removing the big hoses (top one from the tstat to the rad, bottom one from the rad to the water pump) No water came out.. only ice (and that didn't exactly come out.

It was 59 degress Saturday and now it's 7 and overnight they said it's going to be a -15 windchill, so I'm guessing whatever damage is done is done, and putting a big lightbulb under it isn't going to help much (car is in the driveway, and there's no way I can put it indoors)

Ill trudge out there with a flashlight in a few minutes and see if I can see the freeze plugs. Is the waterpump lower than the drain plug? becuase the hose is already off that anyway, and I'm not too motovated to get out there in -15 windchill and crawl under a car.

spring, get here already!
