Engine idle speed - 1995 940

Hi, I'm looking for a bit of help to get my 1995 940SE 2.3 Turbo.

I’ve got a minor annoyance with the engine idle speed. It’s normally fine at around 900rpm but occasionally for about 10 miles after a cold start, rather than returning to normal idle speed when pulling up at a junction the engine speed seems to remain at around 1500rpm for about 10 seconds and then drops to the normal 900 rpm.

This has been happening on and off for the past year or so. Any ideas on what’s up?
