PCV freezing?!? S90-V90

Hey guys,

Well, all seems to be fine with my sticking throttle problem (see 960 shifting problems) and I haven't had a PCV problem again until today. The temps have been higher lately, but right now it's about -16C and when I got to work this morning it was apparent that the car had a PCV problem again. No sticking throttle, but I could see steam from the edges of the hood and smell oil when I got out of the car after driving ~25 min to work. Agh! I don't get it!?! I now have the pre-heat tube attached and functioning again as well. Since I had damaged the attachements for the pre-heat thermostat I set it up so that I could adjust the flap manually. It's set at 1/2 right now, so it's getting 1/2 cold air and 1/2 warm. Should I assume that there is water inside the PCV box attached to the block, which is freezing and blocking the PCV system at very low temps? I'm assuming now that I'm going to have to leave the car with my Vo mechanic and have him disassemble and clean the PCV system... Any ideas? Right now it just seems to blow the oil out the oil cap (yes, the oil cap seal is fine), but I'm worried about damaging other seals... It's just totally weird that the PCV only seems to be blocked when the outside temp is below about -15C. Once the car sits after driving, the heat seems to sink in and the next time the car is started the PCV block seems to be gone... Help!

PS- I'm refering to my '94 964, by the way.
