cold start issue 200 1992

Greetings All.....I have never engaged in this type of forum before so please excuse me if I'm a little rough. Just purchased a '92 240 wagon very good condition only 70k original miles. My wife let me know that the car stalled at an intersection and then a couple of days later was difficult to start after work. Next morning (10 degrees upstate NY) had to crank several times only to stall immediatly. When the engine warms it runs fine. I have replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, idle air speed motor and will install a cold start valve today along with a fuel filter. These are the things I do because I have never used a Fluke meter because I do not know how. The car is parked in a 65 degree garage and still very rough to start. Can anyone help?
