Brake light after bleeding 700 1990

If you are talking about the brake warning light, many are of the warning switches are "balanced" (my term) between the two brake systems.

A failure of one system, like low pressure, pushes the switch to one side and it is locked in place so that a repair will be made before the switch is reset. I have seen cutaway pictures of these switches.

I think that there is a technique to reset the switch and put it back "in balance", perhaps you pull a pin or press a button on the switch.

BTW - In the FAQ there is a listing for "brake light on after bleeding" the listing is in the lower right of the index, partly covered by the ads. (What's with that Jarad?)

It describes the reset procedure.
