General Opinions About the 84 760 (B23FT Intercooled) ?? 700

How do you guys like your 700 series cars? I've only had 240's, but we recently acquired an 84 760 with an intercooled B23FT and M46 with 210k. The plan was to take the engine out and put it in my 81 242 to give it some more punch, and part out the rest of the 760. Now I'm wondering if we should just keep the 760 intact.
I'm mainly looking for people's opinions about the 700 series in general, and specifically the 84 760, to help with the decision.
