Cooling fan wobble 200 1980

My 245DL was making a loud rattling noise, turned out to be the cooling fan wobbling (remove fan, noise is gone). The fan bolts to the water pump pulley with one bolt through the center with a keyed washer to lock it in place. Even with the bolt torqued as much as possible (torque until the belts slip over the pulleys) the fan still wobbles. The keyed washed looks like a groove has been worn into it. Has anyone run into this or have a fix? Do I just replace the keyed washer with a new one hoping it solves the problem? All of the parts (fan, bolt, washer, water pump pulley) are the originals on the car since it was new.
