Steering Wheel Compatability, 1968 vs. earlier 120-130

I'm still trying to get the parts car into its new parking place behind my house.

The tow drivers are telling me I can either pull the driveshaft and have them tow from the front or "secure" the steering and tow from the rear.

Problem is the parts car has no steering wheel but I am thinking of just pulling mine and using it for the ten block trip. However the parts car has the collapsable steering and my '65 has the earlier setup.

Just thought I would check to see if there is any know issue with the splines or otherwise before I pull my steering wheel.

Seems easier than pulling the driveshaft.

Thanks,
