firewall looks pretty good, headlights look good, there is a small amount of rust by the rearmost windows, and a little on the tailgate... but the body is solid. no rust in the spare tire hole. so it seems as though those crossmembers and the floorpans are the main issue.

Thanks again everyone for the help. I hate to admit to the internet having a positive effect on my life, but brickboard certainly makes dealing with the problems of a 40 year old swedish car easier ;). Thank you all.
