I just purchased a 1965 PV544. The hood doesn't operate properly. I took out the radiator and took a look at the spring mechanism. I have no idea how it works or how a properly adjusted one looks. Mine won't open all the way and the spring looks contorted. Can any tell me, or better yet send a photo, of what it should look like or how tell me how to adjust it?
