'84 tach OK in '89? 200 1989

I picked up a complete and very clean instrument cluster from an '84 244 GL.
I believe the tach will be OK in my '89 - correct?


I think the finish is not exactly the same shade of black but I can live with that.

I also got the small clock and the wire harness to it so I should be all set on that also. At this point I'm not planning on using the rest of the cluster.
