Power windows not working 200 1989

Well spring is coming and it's getting warm and I cant open the windows. It used to be an intermittant problem but now nothing. If the driver switch worked all the window switches in the car worked. If the driver switch did not work none of the cars switches worked. I read the faq's and it mentioned that the first thing to do is inspect the switches. I took all the switches in the drivers side out and cleaned them as instructed but still nothing. The next thing they mentioned was to get a 12 volt source to the motor to see if it works which I have not done yet. Could this be bad switches or bad motor or regulator. It looks like a nightmare to get to the window motor. Please help with any advice. Is there any way to open the windows manually? Thank you Philski 89 240 wagon oxidized!
