Opinions on 2.9 liter six used in the 960's ?? 200

Any of the 200 guys have opinions about the 2.9 liter six they put in the 960's?? I posted also on the 900 section, but no response so far. My wife wants to go look at one today. It has 212k. Reputation? Durability? DIY friendly? Reliability? Longevity? Cost of repairs and maintenance? We've had about always had 4-cylinder 200 series Volvos so that's what we're used to.
