92 740 Turbo crankshaft pulley removal 700 1992

Am semi-foolishly trying to "save the family some money" by replacing a few suspected bad seals and the oily timing belt. Ordered and very much enjoyed using the special tool that helps remove bolt for crankshaft pulley. Crankshaft pulley is more than stubborn, as opposed to
"Once you get the bolt off, the pulley will just come off with a little persuasion."
as posted elsewhere. Any advice would be MUCH appreciated.
