life of volvo Cat? 900 1993

I have a "new" 1993 945T with 94K. I backed into a snow bank yesterday and caused an exhaust leak. The exhaust looks original - some rust through on the front muffler (but not leaking), and the leak in the axle pipe from the snow bank. I am debating wether to replace the entire exhaust from the Cat back. The car is a FL car, so little rust, but thought that the cat could give out soon and plug the rest of the exhaust. What would you guys do, and what kind of life can I expect from the original cat? It passed NYC emissions with no problem.

Thanks, Steve
