Hi Rich,

If that's the original Regina pump, it's the highest mileage I've heard so far. From what I've seen here over the past 4 years, anything over 160-175K is getting old, and your symptoms are typical for a dying pump, like Paulii says.

or shop/google for Volvo 35077361 pump.

PS. Re: the sender. It's spring-loaded to be at the bottom. Maybe someone had it out and didn't get it back in right, so it's hung up. They are pricey.
